Providing A Home For Lake Charles’s Underprivileged Kids

The idea behind the creation of the Boys Village Foundation was to provide a home for locally underprivileged boys. Over time, this dream turned into a reality where this home is now readily available to young boys and, in 1986, became available to girls as well.

Today, the Village has evolved into a treatment program, touching the lives of children who are in critical trouble or have been abused and neglected. A holistic approach is taken through a team of highly devoted staff and clinicians that each has a unique expertise including psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors, direct care staff and more. More than sixty years after very humble beginnings, Boys Village continues to serve more than 100 of our most needy children each year.
